happy birthday

I haven't been working on cards lately so I have had none to post. Friday night I didn't have to work so went to crop night at the local craft store. I made these three Z-cards. I got the idea from Linda Dukes site. She has a great blog.

Good Friday

Today is a lazy day. A holiday for everyone, most stores are closed today. I had a cleaning job to do this morning, but then I came home and finished my little baskets.

I got this pattern from www.heroarts.com . They have alot of great ideas. You can even download the template for this project. It was really fun to do.

April Birthdays

I'm finally done work for the week. Tomorrow is laundry day. I haven't done any all week. No cards made this week, I'm back to working on my album of my trip.

These are the invitations I came up with for the kids birthday party. They are sharing a pool party on the 19th. It should be alot of fun.

New week

This is the last father's day card I have made. Last night I finished the kids birthday invitations. This stamp came from Stampin'Up with the car stamp from yesterday. I think I got the card idea from the stampin' up idea book too. Right now I can't remember.

Rainy Day

It's a blue rainy day. The only good thing the rain will take away the snow. It's Sunday, a relaxing day of house work, laundry, drywalling the bathroom(still), and driving my daughter to her friends.

I saw this card in a Stampin' Up idea book. This is my favorite stamp to use for male cards. You can leave it uncolored, which looks great too.

I have to get busy doing invitations for the kids birthday party. Just haven't felt like card making this week. I've been reading Harry Potter. I have to keep on the books my daughter is reading. Just to make sure they are appropriate for her. When I went away I watched a movie on the plane. She had gotten the book from the school library. It became clear to me that they don't watch what books the kids are taking out, and making sure they are age appropriate.

Friday

Another end to a week. It seems to go by so fast. I'm always so busy. Though things are better with the second car. I've done my cleaning job this morning, home in time for lunch. Vaccuumed the house. Had to run back into town for bread that I forgot this morning. (Need it for supper) Now its time to start supper, so I can eat and off to work for 5:30.

Here is another Father's Day card. This week end I have to make birthday invitations for both kids. They are sharing a pool party this year.

Freedom

It's really nice to finally have two cars. No more rushing in the morning. I can take the time to blog before I'm off to work. Yesterday my daughter had violin. Usually I would drop her off, go get my husband from work, go back for her. Yesterday I asked my husband what I would do for a half hour while I waited for her. He said he would pick her up I could just go home. It's going to take a bit to get used to this. Freedom.

A couple of weeks ago I made a few father's day cards. This one uses a stamp from Stampin' Up that I'm very fond of.

MP3 madness

Last night and this morning I've been trying to put music on my daughters MP3 player. She's had it for almost a year and not much music on it. It says its transferring but not showing up on player. I'm not that good with the computer, so it takes so long to do anything. Last night my husband showed me another way to do it. This morning she now has Hannah Montanna on 3 times. Hope she likes that one. ipods are so much easier.

This card is similar to another one I did. It's done with stickers. I got the idea from docrafts.

Rest at last

Saturday afternoon and I'm finally done work for the weekend. Sunday, not much of a weekend. Tonight will be a nice night for a hot tub. Tomorrow hopefully we will be putting primer on the bathroom.

This morning on my way to work I dropped off the kids and husband at the garage to pick up our new car. Well new to us, used. A second car at last.

Today I have two cards I made for mother's day. The scalloped one is cut out using the nestables die cut. I love useing the cuddlebug.

Last Easter

Yesterday I took the kids swimming. Boy was it crowded. Today they have a snake display at the KIA dealership in town. They do it every march break. I'm hoping its still on after lunch, because I worked last night till 10 and just couldn't get up to take my husband to work so we could have the car.

This is the last easter card I have made for now. This week I have been working on Father's Day and Mother's Day cards for the sale.
