Happy Tuesday

Morning ladies.  I'm a day late posting my card.  I was going to try to post a card a day over the March Break.  I left it too late last night.  DH beat me to the computer after the kids where put to bed.  He had a gaming night.  So I have two cards for today.
Both have matching envelopes.  What a time I've had making envelopes.  When I did the easter one I discovered that there was an error in the measurements on the instructions I was following.  The flaps are too short too seal.  The birthday card is the only one I don't have to alter.
This card covers two challenges:
365 Cards-Day 14-Super Sketchy Sunday
Crafty Card Makers-Challenge 16-A Feminine Celebration

Here is the sketch.

Happy Birthday.  This card may come in handy next month.  Both of my kids have a birthday.
This one is for two challenges as well.
Cute Card Thursday-Challenge 103-Celebration
Cuttlebug Challenges-Be Inspired #74-Envelopes
You were to make a matching envelope to go with your card.  The inside of my envelope also has the same paper as the card.

My son has a friend over today.  The boys are enjoying the nice weather outside today.  We've had great weather lately.

Happy crafting ;o)

365 Days challenge day158

Here is my card for yesterday, day158 Whats your Sign? I had no signs in stamps or stickers, I couldn't believe it. So off to the craft store I went, and can you believe they only had one sheet of stickers that I wasn't too stuck on. Then the girl pointed out this paper. I thought it would be great for a male birthday card. On the reverse is a brown background with outlines of cars.
Looking forward to the weekend. Not that I'll get much card making done. But it will be quiet. The kids leave tomorrow morning to go camping with poppa for four days. One is looking forward to it the other not so much. Our plans for the weekend is to put down a ceramic tile floor in the bathroom. (finally) We started renovating the bathroom a year ago. All that is left is the floor and put the cabinet and sink back in. The cabinet has sat in the living room for a year. I don't know what I'll put my plants on when it goes back to the bathroom.
Have a great day ;0)

Sad bears

When I saw these bears I thought of a get well card. They look soo sad. Randy needed a get well card for a student in his office, and I just had to use this one. I think it turned out quite well.
It rained all day yesterday, but today the sun is shinning. It will be a nice day to have a BBQ for Father's Day. We just need dad to come home. He went to a stag last night(for the wedding we're going to England for), and he hasn't made his way back home yet. I imagine they got little sleep last night.

Rainy and Sick

Yesterday was track and field at my daughters school. I go and volunteer for the day. Its great to see how all the kids do. I was timing races. There are some fast kids there.
Today my son was sick, so I had to call in to work. It was a rainy day. I ended up with a headach in the afternoon, and rest on the couch with Grant all afternoon watching movies.
This is a cute little thank you card I made up. Actually I saw it in a Stampin' Up Idea Book.
I was surfing for some ideas for wedding cards this morning. That is my next project. We have a wedding in July to go to in England, and I have had a couple of requests for them as well.
Have a great evening, talk soon =)

Baby cards

This weekend was really nice. Although it rained all day Saturday. I was home with the family. I did some card making. After supper we went across the road to visit the neibours. It was a very nice evening. They have a son in collage who is home for the summer, and a daughter in high school. Their two took our two downstairs, and that was pretty much the last time we saw them till just after 11 when they wanted to go home. They had such a good time. Although the 188 summersalts Sam did made her neck hurt. And the attatude from a 10 yr old when she doesn't get her sleep. Sunday was a little touchy. But mothers day was nice. Subs for dinner so I didn't have to cook. Not much yard work done, it was quite cool out. Randy did polish the rims on the tires of both cars.
Last week I was asked for a baby card. I only had a couple made up so what a good excuse to make a card. I need more of a variety. This week I have several baby cards to show.
I stamped the bird stamp with my glue pad then put yellow flock on, to add a bit of color to the bird I put a bit of stickles on the flower.
Hope everyone had a great Mother's Day
Happy Monday
