Good morning everyone. It's been beautiful here the last couple of days. I have been home for two days with the kids, and we have visited the beach both days. Beautiful sunshine. Today is back to work, and it looks like rain out.
I love playing with the Distress Inks. I stamped the flower pattern with versa mark and white embossed. Then I distress inked with an orange and green. The piece embossed with the dots is colored with the same colors, only it turned out a bit darker.

Project 12 June
With one day to spare, I made the deadline. It's been really hard to find craft time since the kids got out of school. It's taken be a couple nights to throw my layout together. I better start working on next month.
We've had an enjoyable weekend. I had three days off. Friday night we camped out at my dad's for his annual birthday party. They have a huge backyard and have about a dozen campers park there. Alot of them play guitar and sing till the wee hours of the morning. It was fun. Saturday I took the little guy to a skateboard compition to see what you had to do. So maybe next year he will be trying that out. And Sunday the whole family went to an Air Show. My first one. It was the Battle of Britain, so there were some old war planes. It was quit interesting, and the kids even had a good time.
Hope everyone has a great week.

Happy Canada Day
Happy Canada Day to everyone out there. Just a quick post before we head out to the Fireworks. We have never taken the kids to see them, so this should be fun.
I've had this card all put together and waiting for the sentiment on the front. I'm not big on doing things on the computer, it always me so long to print anything out. I've had some problems with my Word program not printing. Last night I discovered that the lazer printer was not the default printer, that somehow it had gone to the photo printer. Switched it back and here we are. Card finished.
The great sentiment is from Sentimental Sundays, where every week they have free sentiments to download. So great.
Challenges are:
Sentimental Sundays-#9-Encouragement & Support
Card Patterns-#70
