home sick

I've spent the day at home with a sick child.  He woke up this morning with a stuffy nose and sore throat.  I had a bit of sore throat too, so it didn't take much for him to convince me he had to stay home from school.  It gave me the chance to sit down this afternoon and make a card.

The sketch is from 365 Cards-Day 239-Super Sketchy Sunday.

At Crafty Cardmaker-Challenge 6 is Autumn.  You were to create something reminiscent of autumn, colors, twines, leaves.

Here is the sketch.

And here is my card.

Have a great evening ;0)

I love the fall theme! Wow. So pretty!

Two of my kids and I have that slight cold too - sort of sniffles and sneezes and sore throat...but for me it's stayed that way for over a week, not better, not worse. For the kids they developed colds, mild so far.... blech! You did good keeping your dc home from school. We homeschool...so we are always home. LOL
