Last night I was very creative, and managed to make five cards, and another one today. So I can take a brake this week and concentrate on packing. A week today I fly out.
This card was done with the cuttlebug. I like to use it whenever I can. Its my favorite tool.
I'm done running the kids to swimming. Here's a quick post of a valentine card I made on the week-end. Now I'm off to quickly try to do some journaling on a scrapbook page I was working on for the monthly challenge at the Craft Nook. I just found out it was due today. Maybe they will take it in the morning.
Well it's another day of snow. The flowers make me think of spring and forget about all the white outside. Two weeks today I'll be bording a plane to the sunny south. My first vacation ever, and I'll be without my husband and kids. A little scarey.
Sorry for the crooked card. I used glue on it and can't lift it up to adjust it.
I got the idea for this one from my favorite site to look for cards. docrafts.co.uk
After a busy week I finally have a bit of time to sit down and show you another card. I had worked on a few cards last week and taken them to our local craft store to work on last Friday night, for their Crop Night. I don't usually get to go because I'm working. So here's a sympathy card I finished up there.
This is a card I made for our nabour. In November we had a spring on the car brake, punturing the tire. Colin came along to help change the tire, follow us to the garage, and drive us to the car rental. Its good to have nice nabours.
I found the layout for this card in Stampin Up idea book.
Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you had a good one. It was a quiet one for us. Chinese take out and a movie with the kids. Into bed at 10:00 for them. Then a movie and drinks for us till midnight. Nice quiet night for two. Hope everyone has a great 2009
