Cake Anyone

Morning everyone. Here it is midmorning and I'm still in my jammies and surfing the blog sights.  Day off and I've decided I'm having a lazy day (with just a bit of house work thrown in).

I dug out the manual cutter for this one.  My old faithful cutterbug (it's feeling neglected since I got the silhouette).  I always find it hard to make a card with no stamp.  I'm so used to reaching for that stamped image, but this cake filled in nicely.  A little score around the edges of the white, and distressed with yellow distress ink. It's hard to see that the  scallops are lined with a gold glitter pen. (a bit of a stretch for the glitter challenge)

WOW, the most challenges I've done on one card for awhile.

Here is the sketch.

Wow different we crafters are-- you say you find it difficult not to stamp a card-- while here I am -- I struggle to incorporate a stamp in my cards!!

I think is so be honest when I first saw it I thought it was a stamp. Such a wonderful colour combo. Thanks so much for digging out cutterbug to join in our Anything Goes challenge at Unstampabelles.
