Happy Canada Day. I now I'm a day late, but I had to work yesterday. Since we are in a tourist designated area, most stores are open all summer. Last night we took in the local fireworks. They are very pretty, being set off over the bay.
I forgot to post the cards that I made for the teachers gifts. They each received a set of four. I got inspiration for these little beauties while checking out

here. Well summer vaction has officially started. The kids are already missing their friends and it's still the first weekend. It's going to be a long summer. Now I have to come up with things to keep them busy.

Now these are just so pretty. I am sure the teachers loved them. Funny how the kids look forward to summer vacation and then miss their friends.
