Three sample cards

This week I'm trying to get back on track, and maybe get some challenges done.  Last week I was working on a small scrapbook of my grandparents. (It will take a while to complete)  After the death of my gramma last Monday.
Yesterday the local craft store held another demo afternoon, for those that missed the first Heroarts day.  Tracey Kuzniak was on hand to help the ladies with their cards.
I love this stamp, it reminds me of my great uncle for some reason.  I put my order in for this one.  It was stamped with Tim Holtz distress inks.  Which I have never used them for stamping, the few the I own.

This one is so pretty.  The background is stamped, whick normally I would reach for patterned paper.  The flower was spritzed with a mix of water and liquid pearls to give it a little shimmer.

And last, this one is two stamps.  And colored in with ink and some liquid pearls mixed in to give it a shimmer.  I discovered I need to stamp more on my cards.
It was a great demo.  Thanks ladies.

Happy crafting ;o)
