My creative space is so close to being complete. Meaning it will not be pulled apart and moved around anymore. A few more strips of flooring and we will be past my area, and my chair will sit even again.
I have been watching utube. Lots of crafty videos. Trying to keep up with everything. Just the other day while checking out card sites, I found a technique that I thought 'wow that looks fun, and messy'. The site was The House That Stamps Built. I was their project of the week, making glitter embelishments. So I made my way down to my craft area and found all the supplies I needed.
Punching out a few images from white cardstock. Then running it through my xyron to add adhesive.
Then the fun part. Adding glitter. Now I just have to make a card to use them on.
So on Sunday we drove my daughter (my first born) 2 hours away to attend college. She is a real home body and was always here. Except for the week and half that she went to France. It's a big adjustment for us all. We keep in contact everyday by text, and snapchat. I was talking to my mom today and she was saying how much better it is now than when she went to school. Cell phones allow you to keep in contact. She had nothing, not even a phone call home because it was long distance. So feeling sad and missing my girl I spent last evening at my craft area making her a card. Now I just have to find out how to mail it to her.
And here is my card. Tea for two?
until next time
happy crafting
