Sunshiney Day

This card matches the kind of day we had today.  Bright sunshine, warm weather.  I saw this background technique on stamping inspired by. I started with watercolor paper and inked with distress inks, mustardseed, scattered straw, and brushed corduroy.  I then splattered water on it.  Cool ah. I colored the flower with pencil crayons, and added gems with my handy i-rock, and a little bow that was just hangin around the work area.

Challenges for this card.

My cousin had to have their year old cat put down yesterday.  It's always a sad time to loose a pet, they are like one of the family.  I made this card last night for her and her better half, just to let them now I'm thinking of them.  And if she checks my blog, its in the mail.
